Activities & Attractions
In addition to the great concerts and workshops, there are plenty of fun activities and attractions waiting for you on site at Festival du Bois!
- Don't miss face painting, fun games and more at the École des Pionniers de Maillardville and Le Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique tent!
- The Scouts francophones de Maillardville tent offers you an amazing adventure to celebrate Maillardville's 100th anniversary. Travel back in time with the captivating decor, music and interactive activities.
- Enjoy a tour of historic Musée Mackin House Museum during the festival (the Mackin House is open between: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm). Situated directly opposite the festival site at Mackin Park, the Museum captures a slice of life in the early 1900s when Maillardville was first established. Mr. Mackin and his family lived in the house during his time as manager of Fraser Mills. The house has been restored and is full of interesting artifacts from that era. Please call 604-516-6151 to book a tour or drop by Monday-Friday between 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
- Begin your festival Sunday with a delicious breakfast, including tasty pancakes served with maple syrup for only $3 (children) or $5 (adults), all served in the Main Stage tent.
- There are lots of delicious treats for your eating pleasure on site at the festival! Who can resist tourtière, poutine and maple sugar pie? Sample some delectable maple taffy on snow on offer at the Sugar Shack!
- Make a fashion statement! Visit our souvenir table for the official Festival du Bois "signature" headgear.
