Calling kids of all ages! 

The Youth Zone is a special area of the Festival that’s full of great things for kids and families to do. Get your face painted courtesy of Conseil Scolaire francophone – École des Pionniers de Maillardville, then enjoy a fun performance in the Petit Chapiteau (Children’s Tent). There's lots more to do on site, including stopping by the Sugar Shack for some maple taffy on snow.

Science Show: Traces of great inventors !
Among your young scientists may be hiding the next Albert Einstein! For each demonstration, Éric will select an assistant to come and help him in several experiments well-suited for each age group. Let’s meet these great figures who changed humanity in an interactive show featuring some of their great discoveries.

Workshop
Dry ice. Smoking ice potions! Kids will learn all about this mysterious, icy substance (-78°C) while taking part in several mind-blowing experiments. A magic show they’ll be sure not to forget!

Isabelle Kirouac
This poetic character on stilts will have you dreaming, dancing and celebrating in style. Kids of all ages should prepare to be thrilled and amazed. Stilt-dancer, choreographer and interdisciplinary artist Isabelle Kirouac creates original and unique acrobatic stilt animations. From street improv to live on-the-spot moments of wonder, her work is engaging and dynamic – integrating dance and other elements into her one-of-a-kind performances. She has performed extensively across Canada, the USA, Mexico, Colombia and Europe, creating her own stilt performances and performing in a range of renowned acrobatic stilt companies. You can also find Isabelle roving Mackin Park, delighting all who encounter her on the festival weekend.

Micah
Micah (Micah Beribeau), a talented 18-year-old, is a dancer, songwriter, singer and actor who has worked as a children’s entertainer with his mother, Madame Diva, since he was a young child. Now he has his own solo career! He’s performed in his home province of Manitoba and across Canada, and has a new album, Micah! Joue de la musique. Join him and sing and dance along!

Will's Jams
Here’s a show full of exciting action, jokes and high-energy rock-pop tunes with sing-along choruses. Will's Jams is led by children's musician and storyteller, Will Stroet, a JUNO-nominated singer-songwriter, CBC Kids TV star, educator and dad. Through witty wordplay and catchy choruses, Will and his band inspire kids to be active, healthy, creative, community-minded and engaged in the world through educational music in English and French.

Gérard
Gérard, a singer-guitarist from the Democratic Republic of Congo, has developed a real passion and talent for French-language songs since his youngest age. He has been hired as a singer-guitarist in several hotels of the MERIDIEN group in various countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean as well as in Europe, particularly in Switzerland, Belgium and Holland.

Madame Diva
Madame Diva (Jocelyne Baribeau) celebrated 15 years spent enchanting young audiences across Canada in 2024. Her engaging shows combine music with learning about nature, culture, and human values. Madame Diva’s shows mix entertainment and education into a true celebration of joie de vivre, laughter and endless smiles. Come sing and grin along with her!

Danièle et Michelle
You never know what to expect from these two wildly talented, creative and exciting performers. Always a big hit at the festival, be sure to seek them out on site to find out what new and amazing surprises they have in store!
